    Border Patrol Area Question "Help"

To any current or former BPA's. I have made it through and have an offer to either Ajo, AZ or Nogales, AZ. Now I understand a lot of it is personal preference. I am wondering if anyone on the board could provid insight to either spot? I have to decide by Monday.

The only thing I know is Ajo is in the middle of nowhere with good work and Nogales is big with lots of standing around. This the feedback I have heard anyway, so this could be totally off base.

    Sully,

    Congrats on the new job!!!

    DO NOT GO TO AJO!!!!!!

    GO TO NOGALES!!!!!!!!!!

Like you said Ajo is in the middle of nowhere. Think about where you're going to live? There are guys stationed in Ajo that live 2 hours away in Phoenix.

The work is just as good or even better in Nogales and since it is a bigger station you will have a lot more chances to different duties. I.E. Horse Patrol, ATV, Prosecutions, ETC....
I don't know who told you about standing around in Nogales but they're wrong. Nogales has lots of work and more you'll get more dope.

Anymore questions please let me know.

GO TO NOGALES YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

I second, go to Nogales. Not even a close choice.

Also hit up the border patrol forum under Delphi. That site is AMAZING.

I'm not BP but I would say Nogales also... I'd like to go to Nogales.
I am a Paladin, like the warriors of old, ready to stand on the line to keep others safe... A Sheep Dog, ready to protect the herd from advancing wolves!
