FAM time-line

I will believe the transfer thing when I see it. They have been telling us that since we began. We still have guys in a field office with their familys back at home. I bet the service will srew us once again and let new hires fill the open postions before they let us current FAMs goto a office of our choice. It seems that the service screws us as much as they can.

Ok, I need some advice. On March 21st, an Air Marshal from my local FO called to schedule my panel interview, he left a message and I called him back. When I called him back he was very nice and apologized and said that he could not hold any interviews that week like he had planned and that I should expect to hear from him in 2-3 weeks to schedule the interview. So it has now entered the 4th week. Is it improper to call and see what the statuses of the interviews are? Things have been moving fairly swiftly for me in the FAM hiring process. (I have posted my timeline previously.) I just was wondering what you all though would be the proper step to take. Keep waiting for him to call? Or call him and see if I can get any further information.

I had my interview, drug and psychological test on march 8th but have not heard anything else. Anyone know what's going on or is anyone in the same boat.

No....

They did when they were first hiring right after 9-11 but on this last announcement, they knocked it back down to 37....

With the number of applicants that they are having, I seriously doubt they will be raising the age again....
