There's nothing wrong with spending your life with your wife and family and working a plain old job, either! That's far from being a failure or a wasted life. If you want to be a LEO, that's cool, but there's nothing dishonorable in being a good civilian family man.

Talk it over with your wife and get her to help with the thinking about your future -- isn't that one of the reasons you married her?

Thanks those are really kind words, thanks for the thought, I just want to make a difference. I just hope that if I don't pursue this, then I can find something I can enjoy doing. I've never really thought about doing anything else because I just kind of knew that this is what I would be doning, but now I'm confused.:confused:
