Hi all!! I am headed to Fletc, Ga in an about a week for the Basic Police Class
10 week version, I was told by other graduates, that the Center lets you wear
Navy 511 pants to class with the Fletc smurf shirts. Is there anybody out there that knows? If so I will run out and buy some pairs. :D

Thanks!, nope I work for DOD/DLA, I hope someone can answer my 511 pants question
I was told they allow them in Artesia, but I don't know about Glynco
I called down there but no one ever answers their phones.
Just wondering because 511 are nice and comfy for daily classroom wear

I believe you will be attending a Mixed Basic Police Class .... as for bring your own 511 utility pants .... I believe the Center will issue you the uniform for the class. I do not believe you will be able to wear your own pants ....

Artesia had a strict rule about wearing what was issued to you, no 5.11s or BDUs in my class. Also, why trash your own stuff during training, trash the issued stuff and save the good stuff for when you are on the job.
The older you get, the better you get, unless of course you are a bananna.
