New SSG trainee seeking info

I am about to start SSG training and was seeking any info from current or former IS. I just found this site today after searching for more IS info. I saw several post for people in the process to start training in march. I was hoping some of them or others could tell me how its going, is it what they expected, is it easy or hard? Also if anyone knows about the new offices opening and if it is hard to transfer to other offices. I was told about offices in the south opening when I first interviewed, but currently I am to be assigned to DC an area which I am trying to get out off. I understand there is only so much anyone can say but anything that can be said would be appeciated.

DC is a cool place to be... I would love to be there! So give it a try before you try and get out. And as far as moving around.... give it time. As far as what to do to prepare... learn to read a map!!! Map reading is going to be very important.
