    Shout out to Sobie

Hey sobie saw your post as being UD. I as of last week can now say I am former UD. I am moving on to another agency and just wanted to encourage you to do the same. UD is okay as a stepping stone to other things, but as career I don't think so. I was supposed to be going to the house soon, which I didn't want, but luckily another job came along. My advice keep looking and applying to other places now so you have options. Just wanted to say hi and wish you the best of luck. When I saw your screen name I beleived I remembered you from some details so I thought I would drop you a message.

LOL! I tried my tap dance routine (with top hat, tux, AND cane) in my 2nd USSS 1811 panel---don't think they were impressed... :D

Seriously, in my opinion, I think Fed interviewers are more impressed if you tell them what you're currently doing to "spice up" your resume, e.g. learning a language, working on your master's, and the like. One reason they'll be more interested is that they'll be impressed that you are dedicating more time to improve yourself while working a 40+ hour job. Makes sense eh?

That reminds me, I still have to submit my grad school app. Damnit!

    tunlrat,
In all seriousness Im not going to juggle in an interview with an ATSAIC and two other SA's in the room......but a pair of pull off pants and a stripping routine while playing the night at the Roxbery theme song should do the trick. Its all in the hips man,,if you can pull that off .....your in!! lol. We'll see. I have a pretty good strategy. A couple of things should help me out. Im pretty personable , so I should be fine. Its out of 20 points , so Im shooting for at least an 18.

Yes, you are definitely LE. Across the board, all LE guys (& gals) have a "unique" sense of humour. Must be all the downtime we have.

"Tear away" pants? I'll leave that one alone. Although, it has been joked that might be funny while standing in an inspection...

I DID not know about that points system. Now you got me wondering. Is that just USSS or standard Fed practice?
