FLETC grads, a question.

I delievered a pallet of whatever to FLETC last night. Who are the people doing security? Are they 0083 Police Officers? They didnt seem to be rent a cops. ( no offense to rent a cops of course. ) Do they qualify under HR 218?

If anyone cares, this is the building that got the pallet that I had to unload by hand. :mad: Townhouse 382 the training management and coordination division.

If it was to FLETC in Brunswick, they are a contract police. They are not 083's, nor do they fall under HR218. We have a group like them here at FLETC east, not sure about FLETC west.

FLETC West is the same as FLETC East, contract police, or on those nights after debriefing at the pub, they were known as FLETC 2.5 for the lack of being the real Five-O !!!

Nothing like contract, FLETC 2.5, protecting America's future federal LEOs. It was something that was always discussed during my time down there. Doesn't make alot of sense.

The sad thing is they get paid more than the Glynn County Deputies and Brunswick Police do.

I have four pending Instructor applications for FLETC right now. I haven't been there in years, but what a trip it would be to on the other side of the desk. Nice promotion too

I hope the applications are all in Brunswick, the academy was long enough in Artesia, I couldnt imagine living out there on a full time basis. I made some nice friends with a couple of coyotes that lived outside my room though.

Ah, yes.....the FLETC 5-0. Or 2.5 as was stated. A breed of their own....they hated us when we were there. Oh well.

Don't feel bad, they hate all 083s. We use to shoot water ballons at them as they drove by! :rolleyes:
