I don't know about police, but NASA has their own OIG (Office of Inspector General) that has 1811's. 1811 is just a job series # used by the federal government to identify special agent positions (FBI agents, Secret Service agents, etc. are also called 1811's).
Check out this posting for a NASA supervisory criminal investigator:

Why yes they do. They are accepting applications for the position of moon patrol officer. You should apply. The next Shuttle leaves soon. ;)

Thank you but I'm waiting for the Shuttle that leaves for Venus. I hear that's where Women are from. lol

Who's jurisdiction would it fall under if a crime happened at the launch site?

As listed above, NASA has an Inspector General office that handles criminal investigations. A crime on a launch site would be investigated by NASA OIG, and other agencies if necessary (ex: if terrorism related, FBI would be involved).

I do know that NASA has some type of security force. Whether it is police, I'm not sure. What I do know is that they patrol in helicopters while the Shuttle is moving to the launch pad. Oh by the way the helos are equipped with the HK 21e belt fed machine gun. If you want to see it for yourself go to..

I'd thought the Air Force would be dealing with Nasa before anyone else?

They have some kind of police/security force. I was on one of their bases Saturday but I didn't think to look and see what it said on their uniforms. You have to go through a checkpoint to get in, kind of similiar to a military base.

NASA has their own uniformed police force and SWAT team. Believe it or not they enforce a lot of game regulations and do a lot of narcotics work. For whatever reason, the scrotes think the swamps on base are great for poaching and transporting narcotics. Hope this helps.
