Got call stating everything is completed and that I will recieve a package and get an employment date. AC was not aware of next training date at this time.

The FBI sent me a rescind letter for a back sprain that I listed on my application. They sent a request for me to go to a orthopedic dr. of my choice. The dr. was less than helpful, but I sent it in anyway. The fbi didnt like the letter and rescind the employment offer. I sent an appeal letter in and saw 3 other ortho dr. who issued me an approval for employment. FBI accepted the appeal.

From what I am aware is that the Special Support Group is the FBI's civilian employess who do work that does not require them to be sworn law enforcement officers.
Any thing from working in officers to investigational details. It sounds like it's a good way to get a foot in the door for some one who in interested in the FBI and would want to work at getting all the education and training to become an FBI LEO.
A few examples could be the employess working in the paint lab, glass lab, firearms lab and fingerprint areas. They could also be intel analysts, researchers or other positions.
