If you work for as an 1811 for an IG and later apply for an agency that requires the TEA for entry level agents, do you still have to take the exam or are you exempt from the test since you are already an 1811? (Sorry for this long run on sentence, I am ashamed to consider myself educated. haha) Thanks for all information.

Thanks for the info Switchback.
I notice you are USMS...I interned with W/TN in Memphis as a junior in college (2 years ago) and could not have had a more educational experience in regards to the Fed system, how the courts work, prisoner handling, and overall how the Marshals Service works. (Except of course WITSEC. haha). The people I worked with in Memphis definitely allowed me to get the most out of my 5 months there. They were the greatest to work with...
