Ive had no problem buying firearms in the past, and would like to purchase a registered SBR in the near future. However, I do have a skeleton in my closet that is preventing me from filing a form 4 to complete the purchase of the gun. When I was 15 I got in trouble over some car stereos, as a juvenile in Iowa. It hasnt prevented me from buying rifles or handguns in both Iowa and Texas, but would it inhibit me from getting the SBR?

A Krinkov, Im actually doing my first AK build from scratch, havent decided to bend my own flat or buy a milled reciever to do it with, but I dont want the goofy fake supressor on the barrel to meet the 16 inch length so itll have to be registered.

The tools are no problem, I can do any press work and sheetmetal bending at work. Getting a FFL so I can build a firearm is a problem in itself, Ill probably end up buying something prebuilt if that is the case.
