Forgive my off-topic question.
I know two people who currently work for the Mpls. Fed Res. Bank, and another who is a former employee. They told me yesterday that the bank is not a federal organization owned by our government - that it is a private company. I assumed since they have both worked there for almost 20 years each that they would know who their employer is.
If this is true, how can they carry the name Federal and also, how can their police staff be federal?
