Does anyone know what agencies have emergency essential LE positions (in other words, they won't let you be in the active military reserves). I know USSS S/A & UD is one agency. I think Air Force OSI is one as well.

Why do you ask?

Oops, did I hit an OPSEC issue? I'm thinking about joining the reserves (or active-duty then reserves), haven't fully decided yet. What I'd like to do is be a reservist & be a full time FLEO at the same time. I'd like to know what agencies I can't apply for.
I was just wondering. I could not figure out what the issue could be. Carry on! ;)

It's not OPSEC. The information is out there. On top of USSS, FBI also will not let you be in the reserves.
Be exact when you ask this question. In Treasury (and perhaps DHS), 'emergency essential' positions are those who must work, even if the Federal Budget fails to pass. S/A's had to work, but they were going to send all support folks (Secretaries, admin, most of HQ) home. We had lots of guys in the Reserves.
OSI allows civilian agents to be in the reserves. Below is an explanation of what 'emergency essential' means to OSI:
Google cache of a closed OSI announcement
Emergency Essential: This announcement will be used to fill Emergency-Essential positions. Applicant must be willing to sign an emergency essential agreement. An emergency essential position may require the incumbent to perform duties and requirements of the position during a crisis situation or wartime. This could entail a temporary or permanent relocation as well as the possibility of remaining in the area when others are evacuated. You may be required, as a condition of employment, to take a series of vaccinations and annual boosters to immunize you against anthrax and other diseases. Failure to take required immunizations may lead to your removal from this position or separation from Federal service.
Ok, apparently "emergency essential" is the wrong term. I don't know what the terminology is but what agencies other than the FBI & USSS will not let you be in the (active) military reserves if you're employed as an FLEO (1811, 0083, 0082, etc.)?
