    Do you really want to work for an agency that will treat you like that as an applicant? Do you think they treat their employees any better?

    A friend of mine left my Dept and went on the FBI as a S.A. The put him in L.A., but his allergies were killing him there. He asked to transfered anywhere else, he didn't care and they told him if he didn't like it there, quit. He did.
    Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

    Yes that thought has crossed my mind many times. This process has been 16 months, plain and simple BS.

    That's one of the things I liked about my dept when I was applying, they treated me really well and with respect.

    And as much as I whine and groan, they treated me pretty good throughout my career. I had some problems with a few Lt's, but for the most part, they were pretty good to work for. Considering the type of job it is and all the inherent problems that go with it.

    Yes I also am finding out that it was not as bad as I thought it was. 10 x's better than the Feds. I was with Homeland Security from day 1 and you talk about messed up. Man that was an experience. I had to leave before my BP went through the roof. After I left it went back down go figure.

    Finally I heard something...had to do a couple of follow ups from the medical... doesn't seem like any of them would disqualify me... but now I am worried a little bit. So I will let you know how that turns out.
