If YOU are referring to the Mixed Basic Police Program, they train afterhours every single day. A 30 minute warm up with calisthenics, 20 minutes of aerobic or anaerobic work. Finish with 20 min cool down.

I am currently at FLETC in the mixed basic program and it depends on the agency you are with. We P.T. for a 2 hr period every other day with our agency instructors and twice a week with the FLETC instructors. Of course this occurred in the first Pre-Basic week, so I don't know if it will change in the first week of actual basic.

Are there any minimum standards or does it depend on the agency. I'm just asking out of curiosity. I went through the VA LETC and it was quite entertaining listening to everyone grunting and groaning for a few hourse everyday.
VA has minimum PT standards but they aren't difficult. I was 29 at the time and I had to run one mile in about 13:30, and I had to do a minimum of somewhere around 36 situps and 26 pushups....give or take a few as I can't remember the exact number.
Fletc has a minimum standard of 25% upon graduation in the 1.5 mile, bench press, flexibility, agility run, and they also do a body fat count
