I'm in the final steps for application as an intern with the local USSS field office. My background investigator, whom I've met about 3 times, is a retired SA. I was out to dinner with my parents the other night when a man approached our table. This was just a moment or two after being carded for ordering a beer (I'm 23 but look younger). The man that approached the table was my BI, who had met my parents previously when he came to interview my neighbors. He immediately noticed a puzzled look on my face as he shook my hand and realized what I was thinking. His reply, "I'm not here doing surveillance on you, I'm just here to eat too" had us all laughing. Small world I guess.
