No, but prefrence is given to Native Americans. They have many job postings at www.USAJOBS.com .

Norm is correct, the BIA has a hiring Preference Policy. QUALIFIED Indians applicants are giving preference over other qualified Non-Indians.

Congrats. I was a guest Instructor from Customs many times when the Academy was at Marana. I was moved at the installation and dedication of the Indian Police Officers Memorial, which they moved to NM.
I ended my career working on the Thono O'odham Nation. These officers have as tough a job as any in this country.
