I interviewed with PIG in the middle of March in NJ. Anyone been hired, TO, MED, Background? If you have where did you interview from? Or does anyone have any info about why I haven't heard back in 4 months??

Why is it that so many people who are applying to different agencies come here for anwers to questions that could be easily answered by just contacting said agency?
Not trying to be a ****...just curious. Has the hiring process changed since I went through it in 1996? I remember having a couple of questions - contacted the department and they answered them.
Are you no longer allowed to have contact with a department/agency after applying?

I been in contact with the agency for last 4 months and have gotten only an answer such as they are still interviewing, or messed up the hiring b/c they hired all new agents and no ASACs for new offices. they are hiring so many that it is going to take time based on office staffing levels. However, I wanted to know if someone had heard anything from NJ or new of anything different. Or maybe they have filled all the positions in NJ and I am just waiting for no reason only to get the GFY letter....

I still believe in contacting the Dept. But it is always good to verify such info with what everyone else may know or is willing to offer. This forum is a great place to get some solid info.

There is nothing wrong in those answers I was given. Am I not allowed to verify information? Or maybe, (and here is the clincher) try to dig a little deeper. Is this site not based upon personal opinions, questions, answers, and experience? As an investigator you should have more insight Mr. Toeknee....
