US Customs Air Interdiction Officers. Does anyone know anything about these guys is it an entry level position in the CBP, ICE, Customs, or whatever agency it is called ( im still pretty confused on all that) if not what's the route to them (what steps would i need to take to get there)? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Back in my legacy Customs days, those guys were series 1811 Special Agents. Now that it's now CBP & ICE, I would think those guys are ICE 1811s (the legacy Customs Spec. Agents & Immigration Spec. Agents were absorbed into ICE). I doubt you can get that post as an entry level agent (GS 5 or 7). You'd have to be at least a journeyman agent at GS 12, stationed at the right place, & REALLY lucky. But if you do, hold on to that because it's a keeper. Those guys were the envy of all of Customs.

Im currently in the running for a pilot slot with ICE. Though I scored high, there seems to be decent competion because I havent heard much since getting my score. I dont recall ever even seeing an air interdiction opening being posted for quite sometime....unless I missed it.
