    Question FBI Investigative Specialist

    Is anyone going through the process for the FBI Investigative Specialist position that could provide some insight on the position, what a day in the life is like, what is the general consesus for likes/dislikes of the position, etc.

    Can't seem to get any information about the position or where these positions are other than in a big city. finished with my polygraph... not sure what happens next. any ideas?

    I'm also stuck somewhere in the process. I took the poly on June 9th, haven't heard anything since. As far as I know everything else is done. I talked to the AC in the beginning of July and he said that they are backed up and my file hasn't been sent down to HQ yet. Has anyone else had this experience? I don't want to be a pain and keep calling them, but the anxiety is setting in.

    For me... let's see..poly july 7th...haven't been scheduled for medical yet...still waiting on that... I know my file went to HQ...but without the medical being done...I am at a standstill. I try not to call them..but it seems that the process should be a little faster... so..I guess we have a similar experience. What city are you dealing with?

    Finally some great news! I got the call today, I'm going to training Sept 7 and then I'll be in Cleveland. It was a long wait, but I guess they were just finishing everything up for the past two months. I processed out of the New Haven office. Good luck to everyone still waiting, maybe I'll see some of you down there

    That is great... I got the call yesterday...to schedule the medical. Do that on the 27th. So I don't know how long it will be after that before I find out more.. all other parts are completed....like the background and all that. So good luck to you.. maybe I will see you aroun.

    My medical file was just sent to DC 2 days ago to get final approval. Everything else has been completed. Its been a long 15 months. Hopefully I will be in the same training class in Sept. Good luck to you Jadus on your new start.
