Hello, I have already taken the NR test once and failed it. I have all my notes from class as well as a study guide book. Is there anything else I can do to help my chances of passing? I'm kind of scared to take it again as I really thought I did good the first time, but in the end ended up failing it.

1. Don't overthink the questions. Answer only what is asked, don't infer too much or you will be led astray
2. The MOST right answer is the right one, even if all the options are also right.
3. Answer only within your scope of practice: if, for example, one of the answers reccomends a chest decompression when one would be appropriate for a paramedic to perform in a given situation, that is the absolute WRONG answer for a basic to choose.
4. The questions are weighted; more difficult questions count for more points.
