I actually did that a while back.
We responded to a bad call. (charges are pending)
I beat EMS there by about 10 minutes.
After looking the scene over, I switched to channel 2 on my radio
and called EMS.
I told them that the sooner they were on scene the better.
Thankfully the driver has been around a while and understood what
I wanted.
Response speed varies a lot from driver to driver when they are on call volunteers. Some drivers are not a comfortable with flat on the floor.
AND I KNOW THOSE 6 TIRE BRICKS DONT EXACTLY FLY.

SO far so good, then they get on the radio telling the medic to "step it up". I am already going as fast as I can, unless you cross train me as a pilot, be patient!
