I am posting here about a very serious issue involving a call-taker that works for the Sheriffs Department.
To make a long story short, I began dating a girl over the internet about 8 months ago. She had her mom, who works as a call-taker for the Sheriffs department look up my license, print it up and give it to her.
I had asked her that I did not feel comfortable her knowing where I had lived.
I do have evidence, still that she did have a copy of my license. I took several pictures of her showing me the copy on web cam as well as several digital camera pictures she had sent me holding the sheet up. The sheet clearly states that the copy came from her mom's Sheriffs department.
Well I had gotten over it but now this girl has been threatening to call the cops on me because she's mad that I had broken up with her. She lied to me in the beginning of my relationship about how she was raped and it turns out she's never been raped in her entire life.
I don't want someone like that, who could easily file a false police report just to get back at me. She has threatened me in the past about how her mom is a cop and can easily get me arrested if I do not treat her good...
besides all the physical and mental abuse I have endured from her... she is still calling me, and I have been thinking about calling her moms Sheriffs department and telling them about the license issue and how she had found out my address through her mom looking me up on their computer...
I want to know if this was legal for her to do because I feel rather intimidated and scared of what her mom could be capable of knowing she works with the police... I don't work with the police I am an EMT for the state of Florida so I do have ties with dispatchers and law enforcement...
Edit - She also used the information she got from my license to visit me. I never gave her my address... I got over it overtime but now I feel as someone who has the pleasure of working with the police on scene that her mom allows her to abuse the fact that she works for the Sheriffs department and that she is a cert. police officer...
