    CA POST dispatcher test

    Hey guys,

I recently took the CA POST dispatcher test and will be applying to several agencies for a dispatcher position. The letter I received said that my score was 64.9 and that the passing score was a 50. Is this a percentage? Or how does the T - score work?

I'm just trying to figure out if this is a decent score or not?

A bit confusing but it does help. The teacher always said that I would need to know statistics one day.

I've checked out that explanation and even took statistics in college and still have no idea what a t-score is. I took the CA dispatch test a couple years ago and received a score of something like 65.7 or 67.5, the letter also included a percentage score and said I received a 97%, so you are likely in the high 90's.

I guess the t-score is also a comparison of all the people who took the test that day. There were about 300 people taking the test, most of them couldn't figure out where to sign in (it was arranged in alphabetical order), so the competition wasn't too tough
