CAD Program question; logging calls

DISCLAIMER: I in no way endorse this site or their product. I only encountered them through a Google search. I have no first hand knowledge of the company or the product, nor have I heard anything about it. This link is posted simply as a "proof of concept," so to speak.

http://www.yes-tele.com/ seems to offer an interesting setup that might do what you want. I'm not a telecomm guru, so I don't know if it would still work right if you're on a PBX or Centrex system (if you are on one?). But anyway, apparently such a product does exist. :D

I called a few other companies and they said for MY exact form, they said it will be anywhere from 100-300 THOUSAND :eek:

They just did a dispatch center somewhere and it costed 400k. I'm like yeah...we're not dispatching for the world now...

Short answer is yes. Implementation varies depending on the software, but what you are describing is typically called a domain or a lookup field/lookup table. Access, I believe, calls them lookup fields.
