    BIA Corrections Academy

    Has any one here ever attended the Bureau of Indian Affairs Corrections Academy in Artesia, NM?

    If so what was it like as for as class room stuff taught, physical fitness, stuff to do outside of academy..etc etc etc...

    I know people that have gone through it, from what Ive heard, as far as physical fitness goes, "effort" was all that was needed to pass. There's multiple Federal LEOs that go through the Academy in Artesia, I guess the BIA Corrections was the "easiest" as far as PT goes.

    However; this does not hold true for the BIA Police Academy, from which Ive been told they had one of the tougher PT regimens.
