This quarter I have a relief post, which I enjoy as it breaks up the monotony.
At the end of my week, I have two days in SHU (Special Housing Unit) in what I will call our "Special Unit".
The Marshals drop off a new guy, as they are apt to do (the shift before me)
And I show up early, being a good relief.
It seems this new guy was under the impression that "Special Units" didn't have a SHU for you to sit in until you get processed.
Said thug also stated that he had spent "the past 6 months in seg."
Why then, being such a hardened criminal, does he have such a hard time accepting things like:
1. Give me your meal tray now.
2. No, I don't have shower shoes for you. Deal with it.
3. No I will not give you a plastic bag to stand on.
4. No, I'm not telling you that you can't take a shower. I am simply stating I have nothing to give you to stand on.
As long as he doesn't start flinging poop, the day should go smoothly from here on out.
