I just passed my Corrections exam on 4-25. I'm 41 and over the age requirement for PO but suppose I'd like to move over to PO after a few years as a corrections officer Is that possible even though I have started at 41?

That may be a specific department's hiring standards, but that's not an across-the-board hiring policy of all law enforcement agencies in the U.S. We had guys in some of my academies that were in their 40's, and I've known of people in police academy into their early 50's. I've also known several police officers that started out as corrections officers, so anything is possible.
If a department does not allow hiring of officers at your age, look at other departments that do not have the same age restrictions for hiring.
