Hello, I took the Civil Service Exam back in Oct 08. I recieved my results yesterday (scored a 95 if anyone would like to know). I would like to know what the next steps are (in order if possible) and about how long I should expect to wait until I am actually hired. Also, I would like to know where the academy is located and what to expect. I am prior army 82nd and an Iraq vet so I dont mind the early wake up and pt and such. I am looking more for what a typical day/week consists of. I would appreciate if only those with the actual experience (i.e. current or former NYS CO's) replied but I will appreciate all replies.
