Hello everyone. I just wanted to share with you guys thay I recently went to Albany for the physical agility/medical and first meeting with the Employee Investigation Unit. The medical part was exactly what I expected, nothing too difficult. Just standard items to ensure that I am physically capable to do the job. As for the investigation portion - things were taken serious. My best thought was to be quiet (as I did in the medical portion) and keep to myself. This was a great contrast to my first experience with basic training back in 1996. There I was very talkative and kind of immature which led to lots of time getting quater decked (PT'd to death).
I think that my approach this time was a little better because the individuals put in place to get us through the medical as well as the Investigators have asked and will ask the same questions to many many individuals so they don't need some punk kid thinking he is funny. I guess that is the difference between a 30 year old and a 18 year old.
The down side to this process, at this point, is that lots of "not hiring" is going through the rumor mill. I would like to make it through at this point.
