i just got done watching a tv series on court tv
i think it was called life in prison or something
but here was the story
i guy was arrested and held in a cell
he was getting hostile becuase he needed his meds
the officer watching him took him to the nurse in the station
this guy was straight up eyeballing the officer the whole time
calling him names, threating his life, telling him how he was going to kill the officer, and trying anything he could do to get the officer to respond in a physical way
i was just wandering, does the police academy teach patience in these type of instances ? i have strong patience, but if someone was threating my life to my face i hope i would act in a way that didnt get me in trouble.
i was wandering if he will get anymore charges for the name calling and threatining of an officers life ?
this is one of the reasons i would like to be an officer, to get these type of guys off the street
i dont know if this is the right thread to post in, i would just like to hear what some of the officers here though and what would they do in this situation. did anyone see the episode that im talking about ?
thanks
