I have a Master of Public Administration and teach polisci and CJ classes on an adjunct basis. If I get 18 graduate hours in any other disciplines, I can teach freshman and sophomore level classes in that discipline, and the courses will be recognized by SACS, our regional accrediting body.
I will look into the Austin Peay program that you listed.
Roger that & good luck. I originally planned on getting a 4-year psych degree from Penn State for the same "brick & mortar" reasons as you. However, I've now evaluated things from a militaristic standpoint while yours is in the academic realm. APU/AMU is good for the federal government, hence it's good for me.
Of course, what works for one person doesn't work for everyone. I've worked at a college. I understand how pretentious purely academic faculty members can be.
Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.
"Wrong door, buddy!"
Let no man's ghost say my training failed him.
