    What is right for me?

I am a senior in high school and I have been interested in law enforcement for about two years and I am already planning to go to the Criminal Juctice School at University of Cincinnati. But when our senior research paper came up I chose becoming a police officer as my topic. My issue is that I am a family man and I need a job that works with that schedule. But at the same time, I don't want to be stuck behind a desk. I need to get out and be somewhere besides behind a desk. So does anybody have any good thoughts or ideas for a job that would suit me besides a probation or corrections officer? Thanks.
