I'm not trying to sound like an ***, but Sam Houston State's MBA program is fourth rate. Anyone can get in, it's worthless, and you now have "disqualified" yourself from getting an MBA at a better school.
This is of course presumes you would be getting an MBA for a reason that involves business! Otherwise, you would be wasting your time.
(I speak as an MS Finance major).
Question - The Liberal Party Nominee for New York County Sheriff.
BIG has to say, he has 13 years on the federal side. have never, ever, ever been a local, county or state officer.
But, BIG does consider himself the "REAL POLICE". BIG has been responsible for a few hundred years being handed out during his career. BIG has his share of cut's, bruise's and scars. BIG has been shot at several times, to include having been shot once. Not sure if that would qualify BIG as the REAL POLICE to some, but in BIG's book, he has been, currently is and will continue to be, the REAL POLICE.
BIG assumes you didn't mean it the way it came out, but once needs to be mindful of how one says things. Especially when those things may be degrading to your fellow leo's.

Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice.

So that's 2 of the big 3 and only Master's or Law Degrees.
By the way CPD is Chicago PD.
Just finished my last graduate class and am defending my thesis next week. Masters does not equal Fed Job, or any job for that matter. :(
Out of the 5 that graduated my department last year, only one has a LE job, one went the Dr. route, and the rest are still in BS part-time or retail jobs.
I have applications out with the alphabet soup of Fed agencies for over a year now and have only heard from two, both denied. For the past month I've been sending apps to all the major State and city levels in my area. HOPEFULLY I'll hear back from one by the end of summer.
On a side note: any LEO from Denver or Tallahassee please PM me got a few ?'s for ya.
Thank you, thank you. I work with the tools I'm given.![]()
Yeah... borderline necrophilia, playing with dead things like that.

For some reason, when I hit "New Posts" yesterday, this thread popped up on top. Don't know why, and I didn't bother to read the dates. Just assumed it was all new ****e. My bad - I have been properly rebuked. As you were.
