Why I love being an AJ major.

The semester just started and I have decided that even if I weren't going into the Law Enforcement field, I'd still want to be an administration of justice major. Went to the first meeting of my new favorite class, Firearms Terms and Safety. The instructor is a retired SJPD sergeant and was a chief at another department in Washington for a time. He has a TON of guns.

So tonight he brought in a bunch of his guns, including his .44 smith and wesson revolver. Yup, just like dirty Harry. So what did we end up doing? You guessed it, watching dirty Harry for about ten minutes. The class isn't going to be a breeze, as we are going to need to memorize alot of different guns and parts and dates and names. But really, it's a class about guns.

My buddy is an engineering major. He was in a calc class tonight. I left my class with a big ol grin on my face, he left his with a headache.

What better way to earn your credits than talking about guns, shooting guns, getting to get hands on with so many different types of guns. Maybe my professor will be able to help me finally make up my mind between a Glock 21 and a HA XD .45.:D

Sounds like a great class. I wish I had something like that during my undergrad at UNH. Good luck starting a new semester.
