Well today starts another semester. After I write this I'm off to my Advanced Research Methods class :eek: and I'm thinking this semester is going to be a B!tch.

Wish I would have taken this class last year. The old teacher was really good at this class. Mostly went over how to write your proposal for your thesis. Which I'm told helped a lot!

Now he's getting ready to retire and didn't want all the extra work so he turned the class over to a new teacher who has already told us she wants 5 books and the new SPSS software. Most of the books having to do with data analysis. So I'm thinking this class is going to be similar to my data analysis class and not so much on helping us write our proposals.

Did I forget to mention that this teacher is from China and her English is extremely poor? :eek: I've heard she get frustrated if the students don't understand her but that she's very hard to understand.

I think it's going to be a looooooooooooooooooooong 4 months.

A colleague of mine here at the college I work for had a professor last semester in one of his doctoral courses (I think advanced computer programming) who was from China and spoke broken English.

Well I'm back.

Teacher's English was bad but not as bad as I was thinking it was going to be. Now as far as classwork, that's going to be a bear. She wants us to write a practice thesis proposal, creat and pass out a survey and then write up our analysis of the survey.

This class is really going to cut into my RP time :mad:
