High school diploma + military training/education (translated into 4 hours of college credit in the civy world lmao...). Working on my 5 year Associates in General Studies plan...I take about 6 hours a semester.
I despise school, and really don't see what the hell it has to do with LE. I put my time in the service, that should show that I have discipline and the ability to work towards a goal...
...But I'll take my education as far as I need to succeed. If I get on with BP, maybe I won't even have to finish my AA, if I get on the sworn side of the department I work for, I'll have to finish my BA to get the top pay, and promoted past Sergeant.Last edited by james13f; 05-16-06 at 02:13 AM.

I started as a CJ major back in 1999 attended classes for two years and went active duty Air Force. Haven't transferred credits back to Civvy world so I don't know how many I have yet... I know I have over 80 credits so far...

Just started on my A.S. in ADJ. Being gone 65 hours a week due to work and taking 10 credits at the same time sucks.

I have a B.A. in Political Science. I graduated Magna *** Laude, so that makes me very well qualified for a variety of careers.
A year later and I'm still working the same lousy part time job I worked through college. :rolleyes:
