    I've answered this before somewhere, but not sure where, so I'll repeat it for you to clear things up.

    BA = Bachelor of Arts. This degree will have more fine arts courses (art, foreign language, theater, etc.) as core elective classes.

    BS = Bachelor of Science (not "bullsh*t" ;)). This degree will have more mathematics and science (social and/or natural sciences) as core elective classes.

    So basically you're saying the CJBS is a higher quality, degree? More fitting for an LE student?

    No... not sure how you drew that conclusion, as that's not at all what I stated above. They're both bachelor's degrees, both basically the same degree, just with separate core electives. All things considered, it's still a bachelor's degree in CJ.

    Then again it all depends on the department you apply to, the department I work for wanted CJ or Sociology or criminology, etc degrees. But of course I'm sure he's done research into one or more departments. hence his quesrions.
