Being that one conservative in class not only got me an A for my International Relations course when I was at LIU, the professor was the head of the department, and when I was in a battle with another prof. who didn't like my political views (it was an independent study course, and the prof. was going to fail me because I did my project supporting Arnold Schwarzenegger's victory in California) I spoke to the prof. who liked me, and he "convinced" the other prof. to change my grade. :D He would always tell me "it's so great to have a neo-con in class to shut these kids up."Originally Posted by Figgy

When you wish upon a falling star, your dreams can come true. Unless it's really a meteor hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all life. Then you're pretty much hosed no matter what you wish for. Unless it's death by meteorite.

All paid for by my PD! I figure they've paid a total upwards of 40K for my education. They pay for any law enforcement related education based upon the grade. I get an "A" they pay 100% tuition, "B" 80% and a "C" gets me 50%. Needless to say, my GPA was pretty high with that much money on the line. Think I may bang'em for my Phd.

One of my favorite all time Playboy Magazine cartoons was a guy standing on the ground looking up at a guy sitting on a branch of a tree. The guy in the tree was cutting the branch in between himself and the trunk of the tree.
The tree guy was looking down and said..."I graduated from college..why do you ask?"
