Alpha Phi Sigma National Convention - Who's going?

I was just wondering if any of you are members/alumni of Alpha Phi Sigma, and are heading to Baltimore for the national convention March 1-4. I am considering going, but haven't decided for sure yet. Sounds like a great chance to get a trip to Baltimore/DC, partially paid for by the university, while still being able to do some of the "tourist stuff". Of course I will also be looking into getting a ride along somewhere out there.

Same here, but I won't make the conference. Since I graduated a few years back I have really fallen out of APS and LAE.

Since your were a member of APS, did you start at a higher pay scale when you got your fed job?

I thought I heard somewhere that the feds do that, not sure if it's true though.

It was based on my GPA, not just because I was an APS member. I was also able to put in for my promotion to 1811 before I had a full year on becuase of the higher GPA. (the USMS no longer has this exemption, u now have to put a full year in before u can put in for an 1811 promotion no matter what.)

I'm not going either. I wanted to go to last year for a free trip home to Chicago but it didn't work out. What kind of Fed Agencies show up?

I have been out of college for 4 years now and havn't been involved since I graduated, so I don't have an idea of who would show up.
