Warning, the following is a personal rant:
I receive nothing from the State because my parents make too much money. I receive nothing from my parents because I'm a big boy and get to take care of myself. I work two jobs and live in a room the size of a closet. I eat top ramen for my meals. I ride RT to and from work and school. I take nothing from anyone. I do not want the States money. I do not want my parents money. I do not want your money.
So many people in this country, both legal and illegal, feel that they are entitled. They feel entitled to free money. They feel entitled to free housing. They feel entitled to be able to ignore the law and be rewarded for it.
Well guess what folks? That's not the way life is. Nothing is free. You are entitled to nothing. If you want something, you get to work for it. If you want money for school get a scholarship for your achievements, a job, or a private loan (which our school does not accept.)
I don't care if you're European, African, Asian, Latin, Middle Eastern, Martian, Legal, or Illegal. It doesn't matter to me one bit. If you want money for school, you need to earn it. Whether that be academically, through a physical or musical talent, or just a plain 'ol job, nothing should come for free.
End of rant. Sorry.
But to answer the original poster, no I will not be attending your rally. Why should the government give money to a person who is blatantly breaking it's laws? That is ludicrous. Think people, think!
