13 arrested at Towner dairy on immigration charges

TOWNER, N.D. (AP) Federal immigration officials say they've
arrested 13 employees at a Towner dairy on charges of being in the
country illegally.

Tim Counts is a spokesman for federal Immigration and Customs
Enforcement Agency. He says 12 men and one woman were arrested
yesterday.

Counts says one of those arrested was from Guatemala and the
rest were from Mexico. He says they were taken to a Border Patrol
station in Bottineau and are awaiting deportation hearings.

The operator of the Sandhills Dairy, Mike Zimmerman, says he
does not have enough help now to care for his 700 animals and he
may have to sell off his herd.

Zimmerman says he thought those working for him had the proper
papers. He also accuses the arresting officers of breaking down
doors, drawing guns and handcuffing his son.

Counts says the officers were acting on a criminal search
warrant based on leads in an ongoing investigation. He says their
actions were, in his words, "appropriate and fully within the
law."

Gee lets see something like 20 million illegal Mexican in the country & some thing like ??? Canadians, I don't know how many Canadians but it can't be that many. Which would you expect?

Sorry to differ, but, there are not 20 million Mexicans in the country. There may be 20 million illegals in the country, but all are not Mexican. Mexicans are the majority, due to their close proximity, but BIG SEXY remembers being a PA and arresting many a Brazilian, Chinese, Guatemalan, Salvadorian, Hondo, Ukrainian, Iraqi, Lebanese, Pole, Persian with the occasional Brit and Frenchman thrown in for good measure.

Even know as an ICE SA, BIG as arrested several of the above categories of people.

To call out illegal problem, just a Mexican problem is incorrect. BIG has never been and never will be the Mexican Migra. He is very, very equal opportunity.

BIG has processed his own aliens. Last week BIG took an alien to the BP office, but alas, BIG SEXY processed while the PA's danced for BIG's amusement. :D

Just because former green ICE agents still know how to find a WA/NTA in the system has nothing to do with the propensity of ICE agents to refuse to do their own processing when PA's are available. ICE agents on the border know full well that PA's will do any work required to accomplish the mission. I don't mind processing...I mind being taken advantage of.

Sure Big, all PA's have caught plenty of exotics from all across the world. Lets look at the fact of the matter though. There are about 20 million illegal aliens in America. Anywhere from 85%-95% of those illegals are not OTM's. A quick check of my calculator tells me that means there are between 17 million and 19 million illegal Mexican aliens in this country. This means the original statement is completely correct; "something like 20 million illegal Mexican[s] in the country". Attempts to sugarcoat the situation with sophistry benefit no one.

Instead of saying Border Patrol Agent, or Senior Patrol Agent or Supervisory Patrol Agent, Agents just shorten it to Patrol Agent, or to be exact "PA".

No real Border Patrol Agent says Border Patrol Agent, when referring internally to another PA.
