Instead of saying Border Patrol Agent, or Senior Patrol Agent or Supervisory Patrol Agent, Agents just shorten it to Patrol Agent, or to be exact "PA".

No real Border Patrol Agent says Border Patrol Agent, when referring internally to another PA.

I guessed that's what it was, but I figure it's better to look silly and be informed than look savvy and be clueless...

Sure Big, all PA's have caught plenty of exotics from all across the world. Lets look at the fact of the matter though. There are about 20 million illegal aliens in America. Anywhere from 85%-95% of those illegals are not OTM's. A quick check of my calculator tells me that means there are between 17 million and 19 million illegal Mexican aliens in this country. This means the original statement is completely correct; "something like 20 million illegal Mexican[s] in the country". Attempts to sugarcoat the situation with sophistry benefit no one.

BIG isn't trying to sugar coat anything. But, would like to see where you get your estimates from. Of the cases that BIG is currently working on, 6 are non-hispanic and entered legally. One is Mexican, though he was legal at one time.

BIG isn't saying Mexicans aren't the majority, but either we're talking about an illegal alien problem or we're talking about an illegal Mexican problem. BIG works illegal aliens, all inclusive and not Mexican specific.

I didn't realize we were talking specifically about an illegal alien problem. I was of the opinion that you had said it was illogical to infer that if illegals were encountered, they were most likely Mexican. My apologies if I misunderstood your comment.

BIG has processed his own aliens. Last week BIG took an alien to the BP office, but alas, BIG SEXY processed while the PA's danced for BIG's amusement. :D

Which office did you do your processing in? I know a few guys up there in your area.

That's one of the big complaints I've heard about. All the current GREEN ICE SA process their aliens the other ICE SA want the GREEN USBP agents to do their job for them.

The former customs CI's better get used to the fact that immigration isn't going anywhere and they need to learn how to handle that part of their job. As a checkpoint agent we see paperwork from the "line" station.

You should see the paperwork that the Rio Grande Valley ICE agents put out. Than again if I had to write a wire tap warrant it wouldn't be pretty, than again that's not part of my job and processing aliens is a part of an ICE agent's job.
