I can't believe what i'm reading. I agree credit cards should not be given out to people without the proper documents. Everyone in here are just against illegal immigrants. When will you guys realize that illegal aliens are people too. I hope everyone would just sit back and think about this. Imagine your parents brought you here as a young child from another country. The only culture you've learned your whole life was american. How can you adjust yourself if you were to be deported. I can honestly say most of these illegal aliens probably love our country more than we do. If the US military were to have a military draft gauranteed to give you citizenship. You would see millions of people jumping the border to sign up!! All I want to say to you guys is please don't discriminate or think that this is a laughing matter. I'm tired of people pointing fingers towards illegal aliens just because our economy isn't doing so well.

Reading this answers my other question from my previous post. Let's look at this from the real world point of view shall we?

BOA gives a CC to an illegal (yes they're illegal, not undocumented) and this person maxes out the card. The bank really has no way of tracking down this individual because of no proper credentials. The person now moves without worrying about paying their bill or just flat out doesn't pay it. The bank then writes this off and charges citizens with accounts more in the way of fees and interest to make up their losses. Imagine this millions of times over. You say that the bank would just lose business so they couldn't do that. True, but what it would do is write off those losses and pay far less in taxes. The governement is going to get their money and if it isn't coming from BOA then who gets the bill?

You say that illegals always pay their bills? Then why are there record numbers of hospitals near large populations of illegals shutting down?

You can cry racism all you want it just isn't true. These illegals had a choice to respect our laws and do it the right way but decided they didn't have to follow ours laws. FYI, here's an immigrant and a hero that did it the RIGHT way and even gave his life for his new home. His skin color matters not.

For your information, my sheriff is Hispanic. I am fiercely loyal to him. Not only did he serve two tours in Viet Nam, his father served bravely and proudly as a US Marine in the south pacific islands during World War II.

I am extremely proud of being associated with great Hispanic men with names like Vasquez, Tena, Encisco, Martinez, Rodriguez and Hernandez. Men who have stood by my side in the face of danger while enforcing the law.

It is my contention that we ship their butts out of the country if they have entered without lawful sanction. If we find them illegally here a second time, we should be throwing their butts in prison to get their attention that we are serious about this.

However, if they enter our country legally, abide by our laws and contribute to society in a positive manner, I welcome them with open arms.

Come with me to the nightly beatings, rapes and armed robberies here in NVA 98% are undocumented(PC for illegal) workers. of the last 55 murders in the VA, Md and DC area, all but a few were illegals. of the last 40 cases of major fraud, all were illegals, of the last 25 sexual assualts in the this area 24 of them were illegals. wake up, they are not nice, they do not assist in the community and they do not care if you live or die!:mad:

Sure, it's sad that children of illegal immigrants becomes victims when their parents and/or themselves get deported. It's even sadder that the parents of those does not show more responsbility when it comes to the welfare of their children when they have to face the consequences.

Like many others here have mentioned, it is not about what their origin country is, it is not about their spirutal or religious beliefs.

Simply put, all it is about is illegal immigrants breaking the law and that it is unfair to the ones who choose to obey the law, whether they're Americans or LEGAL immigrants. Crime should after all not pay or be some kind of reward.

I HAD a BOA account until last week; I was a victim of identity theft, and someone was able to open up accounts in both BOA and Washington Mutual; online and without actually showing any type of document supporting the information. They were also trying to open up a line of credit...and would have gotten it if I wasn't keeping an eye on my credit report.

It is already too easy to get accounts and lines of credit furnishing bogus credentials with these banks.

I pulled my real account and put all my money into a credit union. This pisses me off.

My husband and I worked too hard to have this eff'ed up bank ruin our credit, now learning that they will be giving illegals accounts is just the cherry on the sundae...

Would you suggest starting a new thread? :rolleyes: The changes to our economy in the past few months shed light on why BofA, with this plan, with its acquisition on Countrywide, etc. is on a course of financial disaster for its shareholders.

I work for a major investment bank that has lost 20% of its value in just a few months (PS employee stock purchase plan ... a bad thing ) These banks are losing money because they're giving money, both in equity investing and credit, to the wrong people.

I don't have to think about it. I've been there done that. Several times. All were deported after being convicted for narcotic charges :rolleyes:. :mad:

I seem to recall that all of them had the chance to help themselves and apply for citizenship when they reached 18YOA. Funny, none of them applied :rolleyes:
