And Valor have you actually ever been in a Central American slum???? I have my work takes me to Central and South America and Asia. Right now, I live in Arlington VA. and I can tell you even with this huge hispanic population it is no were near the wood huts and dirt floors... I have seen in a Central Amercia slum.

I work with a language professor that is from El Salvador after six hours of work with me everyday he goes to a second job...He has travelled the world and is a hard working... kind... law.abiding citizen that is not only teaching me a language but our military personnel...He is here legally...his parents brought him here legally...

My Grandparents came here legally from the Ukraine and cleaned toilets at the Crysler building in NY.

Common demoniator....Legally....Hispanics are generally hard working... Mexicans are generally hard working...

Lets start with real solutions like fineing the hell out of buisnesses that are using this illegal work force and exploiting already poor people...Lets close our borders till we get this under control....I don't care, but to say hispanics are the root of all evil...is just wrong and racist....

Even the good hard working illegal mexicans cause problems when they drive without licenses or insurance. This year alone we've had three fatalities that involved non-licensed, uninsured illegals. The huge drain to the medical resources, mainly in the border states but also in many other places is another problem for the US. And we have yet to discuss them committing any crime other than entering the US illegally.
So I'm sorry Pistola...but I will continue to view them for what they are...illegal, problematic, and undeserving of any admiration for doing a job that "nobody else wants to do".
Let's just annex Mexico and be done with it!

That's a whole other "can o worms brother"! The desire and willingness of our Nations citizens to put drugs into their bodies is the reason we have the supply. Huge demand+Supply=Money.
We cannot put all blame of drugs usage on illegals, since generally we consume and they provide the means for consumption. However, back to the chicken and the egg scenario of what came first. Shoring up illegal immigration and border enforcement instead of border appeasment would be the first step in the process. That picture I posted below of the large marijuana seizure makes a poignant statement in my memory. The driver of that loaded van not only tried to run me and two other officers down, but his motivation for doing it was the promise of a green card and a job in Tustin,California if he was successful. That is some massive motivation to be here in our Nation that this clown was willing to mow us down and drive a van reckless on our streets to a stash house for a job that would pay him $6.00 hr.
I agree with Pistola in fining companies who use large illegal immigration to make more money. Companies such as Tyson were recently panned in the news for mistreatment of workers who were from Mx, and other C. American nations.
