Michigan has a large population of illegal migrant workers every year. They get accross the southern border then move up here and live or to Canada then back and forth across the northern border. In this area they are known to cross on boats and being that Customs and Border Patrol don't usually patrol the river that often the only obstical they have is the Coast Guard who has only on boat in our area and has other duties as well as patrol duties so it's not hard to get across. When I was on our CET team we wanted to do an OP where we hit the river hard but our bossess denied it saying the Coast Guard and local police departments patrolled the river so we couldn't. So the illegals continue to pour in through the northern border as well.

Our ICE guys here are taking a chewing for placing detainers on illegals that the locals stop. Seems the bosses don't like them spending all that money on detaining IA's :rolleyes: I don't have one problem with the rank and file of CBP or ICE they are hard working LEO's. But Chewy exactly how far do have to have your head up your *** to become a suit :D

They've been a problem in Oregon for decades. When I was a young cop in the early 70's, we were routinely arresting them. Then the liberal city decided to no longer cooperate with INS!?! :(

By the time I retired, a good part, if not most of our drugs were being wholesaled by illegals.

Dallas. They all stop when they get to Dallas. Apparently there is no reason to move any farther north so we get stuck with them.
