Attention RealPolice Community:

I’d like to invite you all to participate in the New RealPolice Logo Contest (aka “Badges? We don’t need no stinkin’ badges” Contest). We have received numerous requests to update the website’s logo (the badge and name in the upper left corner of the site) so we are asking for your help. Please submit your ideas for a new logo and don’t hold back. All submissions are welcome, but we have included some guidelines so keep reading. All submissions must be sent to rp_forums@realpolice.net by March 31st. The top five logos submitted will be posted in the forum in April for the entire community to vote on. The logo with the most votes wins!

What’s in it for you? Aside from the satisfaction of being the best designer and recognized by your peers as a creative genius, you’ll also get a $25 gift card for Amazon.com. Here are the instructions and guidelines for the contest.

Submission Guidelines:
+ Logos should feature the word “RealPolice” and ideally include our tagline “Law Enforcement Resource”
+ Logos must be sent to rp_forums@realpolice.net
+ Make the subject of the email “RP Logo Entry” and include your RP username in the email.
+ Logos should be attached in your email in either .jpg or .gif file formats
+ Image size is limited to 250 max width, 100 max height (in pixels)
+ No limit on the number of submissions, but only top 5 will be selected
+ You must have the rights to use any images in your logos. Don’t use anything with trademarked images or phrases (don’t steal somebody’s intellectual property; that’s a crime)
+ Internet Brands will retain all rights to entries including the winning logo, and reserves the right to alter or modify the design in the future
