sincere question

ok here it is,Im 37 yrs old and had the same job since my 18th birthday,I joined the reserves at my local sheriff's office about a yr ago,went thru background etc,same as f.t. I patrol solo about 1 night a week,its a 300 man dept. but only 50 are patrol,we have 2 jails also.my question is,if I apply at other depts,my credits not that bad etc. what I do have is one arrest from 12yrs ago for disturbing the peace in which the charges got dropped and an arrest from 3yrs ago,a bitter divorce where I was served with a protective order and on the advice of my attorney continued to pick up and drop off my daughter as usual and behold,was arrested and charged with violation of the protective order and simple battery all of which was false and I went to court but she dropped the charges after my attorney talked with her about my proof and the fact no witnesses to her account,so I have never been convicted of anything,my driving record is good,I have sound references and have good marks as a reserve...........what kinda shot do I have honestly in the le world??? from the deputy's i have talked to sounds like alot have had something in the past....arrest (etc) at my current dept,they knew me and I really didnt get drilled that bad about it,just questioned some?
