Red face So my application was accepted...now what?

Thanks in advance for viewing or responding to my questions. I applied for a position as a corrections officer through the state of Oregon in July and spoke with a background investigator just a couple weeks ago. Today I received an email saying that my application passed the last round and has been placed on the eligibility list with a score of 6. What does this mean, and what should I expect next? I'm naturally very happy and excited to learn this.

So My Application Was Accepted...Now What?

Well, unless I am totally misreading this, my best advice to you is "hurry up and wait." Or, if you prefer, "Stand by to stand by." While know that it sounds facetious to say this, the reality is as far is what it means and what you should expect, probably the state will have a training session of some sort in the future. You probably will be asked if you wish to participate, depending on how many they need and what your score is. In the meantime there probably isn't a whole lot that you can do, but wait. Good luck in your future career in corretions.
