    Oral Interview

I have my oral board interview in 2 days. I'm generally a very good interviewer, not easily intimidated at all and I have spoken in front of large groups on many occasions, so I am not nervous. However, I was wondering, as pertaining to the question of "Tell us about yourself." What are they looking most closely for? Should I be focusing on professional, personal achievements? I don't want to go off on a tangent. I already have 2 manuals about the oral exam and the hiring process, but they don't adress this point specifically. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

They typically just want to know you, your hobbies, where your from, I just told them about me and I passed just come up with a brief description of yourself. Don’t try to become someone your not by telling them things that don’t represent you or your personality. Be yourself and don’t try to tell them what they want to hear. The board has seen and heard it all these people see all sides of people on a day to day basis. Just relax and show the board that you are confident in every aspect and you’ll be fine.
